When I was looking for a 3.5L I was told by two dealers it would be at least 6 months, but possibly longer.

I ended up going thru LKQ and got it in 2-3 weeks.

The dealer is paying? Not Ford warranty?

If you get yours in 8 to 9 weeks that will be good. I waited from February to July for mine.

5 months and that’s without an active strike. Was that this year? Hopefully with the truck plant in Kentucky, that will help with part shortages. My parts rep said the assembly line always gets priority over retail parts customers so maybe not they can get the parts to rebuild some engines.
