Default 1998 f150 leveling help

Does anyone know where I can get a leveling kit for a 1998 f 150 4 wd? I don't know if I can use torsion key leveling kits because I cranked up my stock bars and keys and I keep bustin the cv boots and it's getting annoying so I need a leveling kit that will keep my axles straight but at the same time lift the front 2.5-3 inches. Because whenever I crank the factory bars and keys it puts a strain on my axle and I need a kit that keeps it straight but 2.5-3 inches in the front

any level of that size is gonna keep doing that... either live with it, take it out and ride stock height, or get an actual lift.

aftermarket leveling kits do the same thing as the stock keys-they just allow you to crank them up even more which will hurt your front end even more. if you're having problems now with just a tb crank i think its time that you started to look at lifts or ride it stock

If your much over 24.25" from axle to fender lip then your going to have that problem without going to a 5+ inch lift kit.

I'm just a touch over 24" in the front and I just had to replace one half shaft and am due for another at 135k miles which isn't bad at all.

Would 33" tires look good with a 4 inch lift? Or is that touch lift not enough tires?

I do think 33's look small on a 4" lift but most 4" lifts are actually are larger than 4"... with the 3 inch lift spindles, I've only seen them sold for 2wd trucks when they aren't coupled with an entire lift kit. obviously a 2wd steering knuckle isnt gonna work because there's no where to connect your cv axles. if you could buy them for a 4wd, you'll still have bad cv axle angles.

edit: here are some if you want to lose your 4wd http://www.roughcountry.com/ford-sus...-kit-7503.html

lift spindles are only 2wd. there are a lot of people who run the rough country 4-5 inch lift with 35s. So you can either do a 4-5 inch lift, 6 inch lift, or a 3 inch body lift. I would search the forum in the 1997-2003 section to see what kind of options would get you the look that you're going for.
