Got tired of trying to find time to install my Rancho quick lifts to level my truck. Found a local shop who install "Owner supplied parts" and dropped her off today. Should be done by the time I ma off work.....then the only question will be is if I need to add a 1" block in the back..

QUOTE=Ninjak;5724588]Put on my AFE intake Nice piece, came wrap up really well....heck the box empty was even heavy ! I guess they did not want anything to happen in transit. I did not put a tune on as of yet, but with the CAI in you can hear the whoosh and the turbo's which is pretty cool.
Next up is upgrading the stock sound system. I should have the kicker system by tomorrow.

Nice looking setup. Just a question though...with the filters open like that in the engine compartment, is there any worry about it sucking in heat from the engine rather than cold air? I'm only asking because I'm thinking about doing that Gotts mod and want to make sure I'm not screwing thing up for myself.

Looks like it has a pretty good heat shield. With hood closed you should draw ambient air from the same port as stock intake. FYI, as soon as you start moving, underhood air temp goes down to ambient fairly quickly.

I tend to believe that. I have an UltraGauge on my Ranger. It gets the signal for ambient temp from the MAF in the intake snorkel. I can come to a stop, and you can watch the temp increase, take off, and depending on speed and ambient temp, it'll peal right off.
