Not much today....Held my breath and limped Ole blue to the gas station across the road from moms, used the big air pump. Hopefully that's got the leak around the rim sealed back up. Hoping so anyway.....

Another week of sitting still, then hopefully she's back in business.

its a 2012, and yes its a 4wd. right now i have 325/60/20 tires on it, but i might forgo removing the lift if some 295's worked better on the mpg. thanks for the response

Yeah, a thinner tire may help you since you'll take some rubber off the road and it'll decrease the weight of the tire, as well. It might help you get some of it back.

Picked up a load of screenings today.... Truck and trailer grossed 7750 empty, left weighing 12,100. 2 1/8th tons, 4300lbs. Glad to say truck handled it very well for it's little 10 mile trip. If the weight would have been distributed more evenly, would have handled it even better.

Well, I guess this is actually yesterday, but my truck and I spent the day installing a remote starter.

What took me so long was that I am very particular, so every wire was spliced in to the OEM harness and soldered. It was then wrapped in electrical tape and then loomed to give it a factory look.

It also didn't help that there was an issue with the programming on the FLCAN (PATS bypass module) that took almost two hours to resolve.

Today, I'm attempting the install of power locks. But so far it's like 30 degrees outside.

Took the air dam off of the front of the truck. I'm not crazy about the tabs showing. I'll drive it like this for a while, but if the tabs bug me too much, I'll put it back on.

Added a set of LED Cube backup lights. Put them on a switch, so I can turn them on as needed. Mounted them to the rear leaf spring shackle

I added a set a little while ago for winter plowing...1800 lume LED...
I think $22. bucks for two on Amazon...the switch is mounted on the dash beside the headlight switch.
