Well today driving the truck in a empty parking lot trying to diagnose the problem I also realize that whenever I slow down and came to a complete stop I would hear that tick noise again.
The noise when I stop is identical to the one I listed up above regarding when I accelerate gradually up to 10 to 20 mph.

Does it sound like it's related to engine speed, or vehicle speed? Try manually selecting second gear and attempt to replicate the noise. That will result in a different relationship between engine speed and vehicle speed and might help isolate it.

Some customer service! One of the service people rode with me in the truck and heard the tick sound every time I stopped. we noticed that it happened around 5 mph.
Here's the kicker, they told me to come back next week because they don't have enough staff on hand to diagnose the problem.
Really? You buy $50,000 truck and they expect you to come back at a later date and time because supposedly they don't have staff on hand?

Could be a u-joint. Try getting under the truck and twist the drive shaft clockwise and counter clock wise with your hands. Listen for the click

I just put the selector into manual drive, drove it up to 15 mph and applied the brake. I did not hear the click sound. Then put the selector in automatic mode, drove up to 15 mph applied the brake and I hear a click when I slow down

Well I just picked up my truck from the dealership after they had it for a little over 24 hours.
They told me that the tick sound I heard and that they heard and confirmed was there is a natural noise for this particular truck.
They said it might be something in the torque converter, transmission etc. but could not give me a definite answer on what it was or where it was coming from.
They told me they pulled a truck identical to mine off the lot took it for test drive and it had the same take noise that mine does when you slow down. They told me they even took a second truck off the lot and it did the same exact thing.
They offered to give me a ride in one of their trucks and of course you hear the tick sound.

So as far as they are concerned this is a natural sound and they will not look into it any further.

If any of you guys have the same exact truck as I do try to duplicate my problem and you'll see what I'm talking about. I'm curious to know if if this is a normal

its odd that they cannot identify the sound. I have a new F250 6.7 and havent noticed any ticks. Can you record the noise with a GoPro or some other device? I use a microphone on extension cord with my GoPro so I can place it under the hood of a car I race occasionally.
