I currently have a 2008 f-150 xlt thinking of selling and getting a f-250. Any thing I should now about them any problems I should watch out for? And what's the mpg like on the diesels?

What year diesel are you wanting? That greatly depends on what to look for

Not as familiar with the 6.4's and 6.7's so can't really help ya there. With a little work I know 6.4's can get pretty good fuel mileage

It should be better than that, you can look on YouTube and see a 6.4 with simple mods gettin like 30mpg

Look up "powerstrokehelp" on YouTube. He'll tell you anything and everything about a powerstroke.

DPF delete, tuning, and a few other things make those 6.4's absolute monsters on the street. It can get expensive really fast though. So if your on a limited budget I suggest NOT buying one of these trucks. An oil change for example costs as much as $150 (oil filter and 3 1/2 gallons of oil)

The mythical 30mpg diesel truck that all the diesel fans always talk about
All the owners seem to have a different story though
