I have an 04 F-250 super crew 5.4 6 speed.if it matters That I'm going to put a CB in. Its a cobra 29.I wanted to put it on the bottom of the dash. But with the shifter the it's not going to work. I really don't want it on top of the dash it's kinda bulky and I really don't want to temp anyone. So what I want to mount it to the head liner between. The sun visors. Do you all think the head liner will be strong enough to support the radio and mic. It's about 8 pound. Has anyone ever mounted one here?
Also the power and ground is there a good spot in the fuse box for the power?
Lastly the coax I'm mounting the whip to my tool box is there a easy way to get the cable outside the cab. Pictures would be awesome. Thanks in advance
