i have a 2001 ford f-250 7.3, it is running great but has a really bad diesel smell on the outside and when the air is turned on it pulls the smell into the cab, it isnt leaking fuel any and i cant think of what the problem could be. any ideas???

 

this is a suggestion, but you may have a small exhaust leak under the hood and the smell could be leaching into your heaters pick up box where it draws the outside air to heat.i would check for any soot build up where the exhaust mounts to your turbo or any other exhaust connections under the hood.hopefully this will help.
