I can say for any owner don’t go over $80k msrp or it will cost you that $7500 tax credit . States also have tax credits and rebates with caps . With the price increases a lariat with extended range will not be eligible for the tax credit. I got mine last week and it was 79,900

Default My ordering experience

I made a reservation in May '21 and finally got an invitation to order in October 2022 that said "production anticipated spring of 2023. Placed order for a Lariat 10/21/22 and recently got an email with a VIN # saying it was scheduled for production week of Dec 12, 2022. We'll see if that holds. FYI - They had to delete the Heating Steering Wheel and advanced security system items from the order because of chip shortages, but that's no big problem for me.

The Ford status tracker showed that they starting working on my truck 12/14, and on 12/24, I got an email saying that it had been built and is now awaiting shipment. The window sticker indicates it is coming by truck. My receiving dealer in NH says he has been seeing it take "a few weeks" for them to receive them after production, so hopefully I will finally see it in January. The window sticker shows that they also removed the Advanced Security Pack (-$50), the Onboard Scale/Smart Hitch (-$650), and the Heated Steering Wheel (-$140), so my Extended Range Lariat is now bargain priced at $86,389! (Base price $76,474 plus $11,915 in options).

I ordered the extended range Lariat on the 24th of December. I put in my reservation the second week it was available and this is how long it took to just get the chance to order it. I have no idea how long it will be now.
The kicker is I got tired of waiting and ordered a King Ranch with the powerBoost in September that I picked up December 23rd.
I guess I will either sell the Lighting or let the dealer keep it. The dealer smiled pretty big when I asked him if he would give me my deposit back if I decided I didn’t want it. He said that I would probably want to sell it myself though. Crazy world we are in now

update - it rolled off the truck this morning and I picked it up this afternoon. Paid sticker price - dealer didn't try to extort more $ - thank you Lebanon Ford! Sweet truck.

I got on the reservation list first week when it went live. Got a call and ordered my Metallic Grey 511A Sept 22. Got the "In Production" notice late Dec and scheduled for week of 23 Jan. Today it showed "Built" then "in Production" again I'm guessing for the spray-in-liner.

When I place the actual order they had me sign a 6 Month contract to not resell. Might be a Ford Canada thing.
With my $1000 deposit they said no issues if I decided not to take delivery. NOT GONNA HAPPEN ANYHOW.

With any luck I show be in the driver seat by 10 Feb.
