Default Computer Generate Picture

I need to vent.......I am put off by the "computer generated" picture that Ford keeps putting out for the Lightning. Damned thing looks like it has been lowered or is a 2WD version. It's annoying the snot out of me, since it doesn't seem to match the video/pics I have from the demo event I went to back in the fall.

I have a nagging voice in my head that this truck is going to be delivered looking lowered, instead of what should be a normal rake/appearance of the F-150, especially with the stated lower ground clearance between the ICE F-150 and the Lightning, though this is likely due to the batteries. I want a truck, not a low rider, and I need to vent because my girlfriend is already tired of me talking about the truck so I need testosterone support.

Fair point. So to make you happy I built a regular comparable Lariat Supercrew FX4 and took a screen shot of it and my build page.

The side shot of the Lightning just looks a whole hell of a lot lower.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say......because you're a guy (presumably) so we talk about sports, beer, money, cars/trucks.

I can see that accounting for the decreased ground clearance, but not for the lowered look. That being said, most Ford pics I see on dealer sites show a 4X4 looking like it has the same lowered stance. It just bugs me.

Most of the fully loaded F150s in the brochure are shown while towing a trailer likely way too heavy.
Many of the pictures also show a leveled 4x4 truck (even 2x4), yet none of them are level.

Graphics artists doing their job, drawing a picture that appeals to most people.

Check out the video in the cold weather testing thread in this section.

I'd think this is what they're (height) going to look like.
