Default FX4 Off Road Fishing Edition

Hi, my name is Walter and I am a toolaholic, I could change if I wanted to, but, oh heck, we all know that will never happen.

Recently joined the Rapid Red Club.

I have had many Ford trucks in Blue, Burnt Bronze, then more shades of blue as I traded in my lease trucks every 3 years.

My truck is my primary company truck and used to get to service calls, pick up and deliver tools and machinery. The trucks spends a fair amount of time with either a box trailer or a dump trailer in tow.

I was not planning to get this truck, but It was the only one on the lot that fit my needs and I was not going to leave the lot in the 2023 Antimatter Blue Power Boost, that had been sitting at the dealers repair shop for two months of the four I had it with a "stop safely now" problem and was "Untrustworthy!" I was actually leaning towards a 2023 Hot Pepper Red XLT 5.0L but with the penalty they wanted to trade out of the power boost it raised the monthly payments too much, so I took the used truck, and even still my payments went up over the power boost.

2021 Ford F-150, Rapid Red, Lariat, FXR "Off Road Fishing Edition", 5.0 Litre V8, 502A, Sport Package, Twin panel moon roof, power just about everything, B&O Sound, 2 KW ProPower, 3.73 E Lock, HDPP 7150 GVWR (1565 lbs capacity) with Trailer Tow package.

Would have preferred the Max Tow package and really did not prefer the moon roof.

Truck was Ceramic coated at new and paint is in pristine condition, came with an Access roll up tonneau cover over a factory spray in bed liner, which saved me from transferring over the Access that had been on my last 4 trucks.

Tires are trashed, so have a set of Falken Wildpeak ATW3 LT285/60R20 on order for it and will install Timbren load stabilizers on it.

Added the Builtright rear seat access release and a set of Bull Ring hooks.

Enabled Glare Free Adaptive lighting with Bambi Mode and turned on the Rear park lights with the DRLs.

Nice truck, but there is no such thing as a fishing edition. Those are just random stickers someone had made and added. It is unique though.

Pulled into a parking spot at the Ford Dealership and found I was parked right next to another F150 Lariat FX4 Off Road Fishing Edition. This one is a 2023, 5'5 box.

Mostly Kokanee, Rainbow and Bull trout, but all I usually manage to catch is the sucker fish, or the great BC rock bottom, LOL
