it wouldnt be hard persea but however some things to think about drive shaft length will be different and cutting and fabbing one with proper balance is pricey or atleast it was in the 90's havent done it since then
now the linkages and clutch install isnt a sreious problem because thanks to henry F they are all built with cut outs and brackets for either type however there wont be a cuttout for a floor shift i dont think also take into consideration that it will also probabley change the length of your front drive shaft and there in lies more trouble with cross memebers and linkages and such needing to be moved also if your one of the lucky/unlucky folk who have a two peice rear drive shaft that will be removed not such a bad ordeal but anyways i digress the main problem im seeing is why on earth would you take a C6 beast shoot em with a shotgun and itll still operate properly tranny out of a vehicle for anything less than necessity say it finally died and you have a fresh new manual trans laying in the shop? but there again i digress other than a few fabrications it should all bolt right up using your old bell housing i think. you may want to look at some shops for better details such as the one i used to use was superlift in shreveport, LA depending on your location you may have some closer than u think

I'm pretty sure that the frnot driveshaft is the same u might have to change the rear shaft all the 205 transfer cases will bolt to both auto and manual trans the center hump will have to b changed but all u have to do is get one out of a trk that has a 4sp in it the worse part is puttn the clutch pedal & linkages in other than that its not a bad swap just time consuming
