Not sure what the T5 is but I do know the 289 cobra 5 speed transmissions will fit our motors.

A tremec t5 won't work unless you have a different bellhousing. A 5speed zf trans from like an f250 will bolt up with minimal issues

I'm not positive, but it could be a C6 if it's auto

the 80's F series trucks had either a C4 or the C6, I know my 351W powered has a C6 in it. find a ZF from almost any F series, my understanding is the 302, 300/6, 351W, and several others use the same bellhousing pattern.

Hope this helps

A t5 from a v8 mustang will sorta fit in one of these trucks, but the mazda built five speed used in the later 80s and early 90s trucks will bolt in, and will be way more than strong enough, you ll need a clutch pedal assembly from a truck close to the same year as yours, and you ll need a flywheel for a six , the v8 ones are the wrong balance.
