tranny swap
i have a 1979 F-150 with a 390 with stock transmission and front and rear diffs.. i have plans on swapping the stock axles for super duty axles and was wondering if there is anway to swap the tranny and transfer case as well... does anyone make an adapter for that? 
is it even possible to do so?

i just figured super duty axles would be easier because my truck has coils on the front and so does the super duty but your probably right i will have to look into the daa 44 and 60 but i dont know where to find them around here

i figured i would need some fabrication at the very least but a donor truck would help too... i'm not really looking to swap trannys buti thing it it would be cool to bolt on a 6 speed manual transmission just for kicks and it wouldnt hurt to have 2 more gears for bettter fuel mileage... even a 5 speed would be cool
