Default Tire Question ??

Anyone know what the largest tire I can put on a 15" rim
without jacking the ole trucks suspension or lift
It came stock with 235-75-15
I was thinking something like a
31-10.50-15
or
30-9.50-15
It is a 1985

You can fit 31/10.50/ 15 on the rims with stock backspacing and it will rub a little when you turn. Daystar makes a 2 inch polyurethane leveling kit fairly inexpensive which would give you the clearance you need without "lifting".

I have 31x10.5R15 tires no problem. Were on stock rims but later got new Al rims.

Maybe add a 2nd tank? If your tank is located in the rear, you can get a 38 gal. tank to replace the 19 gal. tank, but you have to relocate the spare tire somewhere else.

Don't know about the dash? Have you found a replacement?
