Default Timing Cover Leaaks

I am having trouble with oil leaks between the timing cover and oil pan on an 81 300 6cyl. I have replaced the rubber gasket 3 times with same results! Yesterday I actually dropped the oil pan, replaced all gaskets, ran it 4 times for 2-3 minutes with no leaks. Installed radiator etc., cranked it back up and after a few minutes started pouring again????????????? Has anyone else been as confused and frustrated by this problem as I am?

Sounds like the oil pan is warped or maybe it has been over tightened. Maybe try a piece of thick cork board and make your own gasket thick enough to fill any gaps

I have located some cork material and will try it this evening. Thanks for your help!
