Default Things to look for on a 79

Hey guys I have the opportunity to buy this 79 for $500. It's a decent running 351 4 speed. My question is, what do I need to check out when I go look at it tonight. Frame and bed are a must I know, but what are some other problem areas? Any help before 6 is much appreciated!!

Any problem areas on these trucks that really need to be looked over?

I second the tie rods and ball joints suggestion. Play in steering linckage. Otherwise pretty solid rigs. Watch out for rust.

Im looking at a '77 150. Little play in the steering. maybe 1/8 a turn. Enough to worry me n my dad. (he almost died in a jeep cuz he ignored this problem). What could be the problem?
