Default Some help identifying a few things

I was given an 86 F-150 Lariat. It had been sitting and we got it running and I drove it 60 + miles to get it to my house. We got it inspected and it passed emissions. It now will not start. It acts as if it is not getting fuel. I went looking for the inertia switch and could not find it. I did find a connector that someone and wired across. Here are a few pictures can anyone help me identify what they are?

The jumpered connector in the 2nd photo appears to be for the inertia switch. The I.S. is a black box about 2.5" square - attached to the firewall near where the passenger heater duct exits. If it is missing look for a square cutout in the insulation and that is where it goes. There may be carpet covering it.

The other stuff looks like add on stuff. Maybe a trailer brake controller, radio equipment, Stereo Amp? or fog/ driving lights etc? Follow the wires through the firewall and see where they end up.
I used a similar hole to run wires for my ARB air locker, and after market AC, power windows and door locks etc.

Default Thanks

I really appreciate the help. I am handy enough to have changed a transmission in a Toyota truck by myself and using a manual but electrical system confound me.
