It has a Boss 429? If this is true, and I doubt it, then it no longer has the stock rear...So, what rear does it look like?

OK, a couple of problems with your story.

1st. No such thing as a 1945 F- anything. The F series started with the F-1 in 1948. Yes, Ford had pick-ups before that, but they were just Ford Trucks. 1942 to 1944 Ford trucks were built for the Military mostly as part of our War Effort and in 1945 the gub'mint said they could start building civilian versions again.

2nd. Do you have any idea how incredibly rare the Boss 429 is? I am not going to say it impossible that your buddy owns this engine, but if he does, he is a rich man.

The Boss 429s are no longer rare thanks to Jon Kaase Racing Engines!!!

If you can afford one,

Really? R U sure?.....I don't s'pose you've noticed he calls his engine a Boss 9. Ummmmm...why d you s'pose that is?

Jon Kaase's Boss 9 has been around for a while. These engines are amazing, and if you search my posts, you'll see I have been posting about them for quite some time.

What you can not do is call them a Boss 429. They are not.

I knew that I figured they would only fit on a boss 429 not a regular 429
