Pumkin exploded
I have a friend with a 1945 f1 or f100 I can't remember but it's a major sleeper rust paint chips ect... Anyways it's got a boss 429 bored out to a 435 and we were dragging it and the pumpkin exploded actually the entire center of the axle what would cause this and what is the ring gear size in this truck? Thanks a lol no pics yet will post tho as soon as I can

1st. No such thing as a 1945 F- anything. The F series started with the F-1 in 1948. Yes, Ford had pick-ups before that, but they were just Ford Trucks. 1942 to 1944 Ford trucks were built for the Military mostly as part of our War Effort and in 1945 the gub'mint said they could start building civilian versions again.
2nd. Do you have any idea how incredibly rare the Boss 429 is? I am not going to say it impossible that your buddy owns this engine, but if he does, he is a rich man.

It's not an original boss 429 it's a new built up block and I said I'm not shure what series it was it has no badges he as put about 20k into it

Jon Kaase's Boss 9 has been around for a while. These engines are amazing, and if you search my posts, you'll see I have been posting about them for quite some time.
What you can not do is call them a Boss 429. They are not.
