Angry Possible hydrolock!!!

Well guys I think i hydrolocked my engine. I was driving through some good sized puddles then next thing I know I'm sittin up to my bumpers in water but not after sucking in a bunch of water . Air filter was soaked and air box was full of water. The exhaust was under water but the truck died when i went into the puddle and sucked up all the water. Pulled every plug and tried to turn it over by puttin a breaker bar on the front of the crank but couldn't get it to turn over. Tried it after letting it air out by using the key this time, (inertia switch unplugged), and the starter engages but won't even turn over that way. From what I can tell there's no water in the oil. What's you're opinion on what happened and how do you fix it? Thanks for your time!

Pete

Hydrolocked to me.

Things to check might sound stupid but

Re-set fuel switch

Check altenater

Check starter

When I did that exact same thing, except mine was a shallow lake 3 feet deep at the deepest part and not very wide. My truck went into safe mod, just shut it off, water got into my exhaust so we had to drain it on a hill. After that I started and left.

Mystery oil each cylinder through the spark plug holes. let it sit for a few days and try. If that doesnt work then you probably bent the connecting rods and the motor is junk. Cant compress water so everything just bends.

Well today I put some Marvel mystery oil into it. Tomorrow night I'm gonna go see if it helped. Keep your fingers crossed guys. If It doesn't work I have another engine lined up for $200.

I let the mystery oil settle for a couple of days. Tried starting it today but it was a nogo. I tried it with the starter and with a breaker bar on the crank. I'm going to start pulling apart the engine in a couple of days. I'll post up pictures of the damage.

None so far brother. Gonna get a used engine in a couple of days for the truck. Then I'll start tearing it apart when I get the old one out.

Quick question guys. I might have a donor engine for the truck but it's a big block. Would that mount up to my A40D Tranny?
