Just go with some new autolites and a new set of 8mm wires. You don't really need flame throwers for a basic 302. Just make sure your gap is right and you could look into a new distributor cap and button. If you want to do that just an motocraft will do fine. Its been my experience that just a simple tune up is better then throwing down a bunch of cash for stuff that's not going to make a huge difference wether its stock of "high performance"

I think I'm getting auto lite double platinum plugs with msd 8.8 mm wires. Mine are rusted and I get misfires every now and then so I know new plugs and wires will help. Thanks by the way man!

Anything more than regular copper spark plugs are just a waste on these trucks....

Why do you say that? Correct me if I'm wrong but platinums can last up to 2 or 3 times longer than copper and get a decent better fuel economy.

The plantinums really won't make a difference in that gen. 5.0 being basically stock. Theyre life span is about the same as a regular coper core plug.
