Replaced head with rebuilt on my 75 300 because it was cracked between #3 & #4. Old head had 3/8 threaded studs. Rebuilt has 5/16. I purchased the 5/16 rocker arm nuts thinking they would work. Now the rocker arm nuts bottom out before lash is out of rocker arms? Shouldn't these heads have adjustable valves?
