Im looking to upgrade my alternator on my 78 shortbed. Ive got the 460 and am looking to beef up the alternator because I eventually plan on putting in a new stereo and subwoofer and some new lighting. Can anyone give me some ideas? I would appreciate it!

 

Web search 3G alternator upgrade. It's a common swap in the 80-86 trucks. Don't see why it wouldn't work in yours.
