Default Mini spool and carb questions

Well I just bought a LSD for my 85 f150 4x4 and it cost my poor *** too much money. And I seen a mini spool is a third the cost of a LSD. It would go in my front end. Is this a good idea? Or is there something cheaper than $350 that's better. And I bought an Autolite 2100 two barrel carb. Good or bad carb? Need some input and would appreciate it. Thanks

I would not run a spool on the road especially on the front. Dangerous on the street. You will chirp the tires on every turn. you will slide out at every patch of gravel or slick spot.
I have an ARB airlocker on my rear and if locked I leave a rubber patch or one tire hops in a turn.

Your choices are:
Leave as is:
LSD
Electric locker = $750 + installation.
Air Locker with pump kit $1200 + installation.

I would leave the front alone unless you are going to do a lot of 5mph rock crawling, mud slinging, snow throwing 4x4ing.

Ok. I'm just getting it to where I don't get stuck. It has an LSD in the rear so I'll atleast have 3 tires pullin I'd just rather have 4.
