Problem with LMC is that they don't have the dash trim piece for the instrument cluster or the trim around the radio and a/c controls. They actually have very few parts for that style dash ('80 to '86 I think). So far the best place I can find for parts for that style dash is the salvage yard.

I have run into that myself, even the salvage yards around here don't have that much of a selection, most were torn up being removed for other parts. I am in the process of up grading my interior to a explorer XL and have had to modify the panel over the radio to accommodate the clock I installed, was not fun cutting that out...keep in mind there were some interior style changes depending on the option package and year. But it appears it all bolts up the same.

looks like to me by your steering wheel and dashboard you have a explorer xl or xlt interior, I have been wanting to install those map pockets on mine, you have the cut outs for the radio and clock, I am going to have to try to load up pictures of mine..

So that's what I have I didn't kno what interior I have here is a pic of the door with the panel on and what I've decided to do for now is cut and smooth the torn piece of the dash and just paint and install it
