I have a 78 with a few issues. I took it to a Ford dealer and wasn't real impressed. If anyone knows of a good, thorough mechanic familiar with working on older trucks like this, I'd love hear about them. I'm in Kenmore, WA, so east side is preferred, but Seattle area is doable.

You might try the regional forum for Northwest.
Dealers don't like to work on vintage trucks and some won't at all.
