Default lower

i bought me a 76 f150 not to long ago and was wondering whats the best way to lower or atleast even out the truck?

Not sure of the BEST way to lower it, but to at least level it out I imagine you could flip the U-bolt and leaf springs on the rear.

Flipping the rear axle would drop the rear about 5 inches, too low to be level.

I'm assuming that the front is lower than the front. Most auto part sellers sell spring spacers. They fit between the coils themselves. You can find them in the accessories section. They look like really fat 'X' shapes.

You can also do something like this: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000BWCFIM

Chances are that your factory spring spacers are worn and in need of replacement anyway.
