Hey everyone,

I'm new to this forum so not sure if this is the right spot but I'm looking for a tailgate for a 1986 F250 exactly like this one can anybody point me in the right direction?? I've seen a few that look like this without the Ford letters but when I read the reviews everyone says the same thing "made from very thin and cheap metal" looking for something like the original, sturdy.

 

Your pic shows at least 2 parts: the tailgate shell (which is the stamped steel painted black), and the t/g trim panel (which is stamped Aluminum brushed & polished with polished chromed plastic letters stuck on). Which does your truck need? The original trim panel can be attached to a replacement shell that never had one.
