Default Help valuing and learning about '68 F100

Hey, Guys, I need some help. I have a '68 F100 Flareside Shortbed that belonged to my best friend's Dad. He bought this truck when we were kids and he loved it...it was his toy that he tinkered with all the time. Unfortunately, in 2004, he passed away from pancreatic cancer. It was running well then, but hasn't been driven since. In '08, my best friend's Mother phoned and said someone in her neighborhood complained to the city and that she's being forced to remove it from the property (even though it was in her driveway under a cover) or lose it. I hauled it to my place and have been housing it for them since.

Well, my best friend has been laid-off for a few months and his transmission went out in his vehicle and I told him I'd help him sell the F100 for repair-money. Can someone provide me a general idea of what these things are worth? I'm not looking for to-the-penny values (because I don't know enough about it to give proper details)...just something to gauge the demand and rarity (if any) of the truck. It's a manual with bench seat and the odo reads "66,619" miles (I'm sure it's flipped...or maybe not...don't know). I've looked at eBay and other sites, but can't find anything similar in condition or body style.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
