Went out yesterday and fought the new shocks on now the rear suspension is solid as a rock and won't budge unless it's got 400+ pounds of weight jumping on it

I looked at the truck today. Frame looks good, got it running. Needs body work and just a tune up. I'm an trying to get it

79 was the last great year for over built f150s I would love to have the axles and 351 from that year for my 86

It has a 351. I'll know if I'm getting it by the end of the month hopefully. If I get it I'll take a pictures and do daily updates like you did on this build.

Thanks I got some bugs to fix I hope this truck surprises me. I got an exhaust leak and my motor is chugging like I have a huge cam and I know I don't so i will probably end up replacing the cap and rotor

Driving her out through the field tonight hit the mother of all gopher holes and she's solid as a rock I am extremely happy to say its getting where I want it to be
