Default Droppin in a 302?

So how hard would it be to drop in a 302 in my 82 f150 straight six? Would the tranny bolt up? It says that its the "K" transmission on the inside of the door? Or would I have to get a different trans too?

You shouldn't have any problems at all. The only thing I can think you may need is a radiator shroud to keep the forced air flow through the radiator.

I do believe the 300 and the 302 have the same bellhousing bolt pattern.

Yes the bell housing patterns are the same, but make sure you use the flex plate or flywheel that came on the 302 as the balance is different between the 302 and I-6. you will also need the motor mount holders off the frame of a 302-351w truck because the I-6 trucks don't come with them.
