Default door hinge replacement

A friend of mine has given his grandson a 1974 F-100 he has owned since new. Naturally this truck needs a little tlc, to start with the doors on this truck do not fit very well. The door hinges seem to be worn out. My question to the forum members is where can good quality hinges be obtained from and could a home mechanic replace them and be able to re-align the doors effectively? Thanks for all the help and input!

LMC Truck should have the hinges. You might have to pull the fender to get to the hinge bolts like most vehicles, but I don't have one in front of me to know for sure.

Right on Sean!
There is a tool (special box end) made by MAC tool for FORD door hinges.
It is banana shape.
