Default Differential Identification Help

We have an 82 F-150 and was wondering if I may ask for assistance in identifying the rear differential. We found a tag on the diff and appears to be original.

Numbers on the tag:

WFE BA 2D30
2L75 9 S315B

There's a sub forum for "Pre '87/Classic Corner" where you might get a better response.
I personally don't know the answer.

Do you see the tag under one of the stud nuts that bolt the pumpkin to the housing?
A bunch of those have the ratio on the tag

Not sure of 82 but if I remember correctly look on the door post tag...very bottom should have the wording axle....underneath if it has a number 9 or i9 it is 3.55 ratio....also in later years H19 was a 3.55 limited slip??

Looking at your tag information, this is what I can determine using my FSM. WFE is the assembly plant which is irrelevent. 2L75 means limited slip 2.75 ratio. 9 is the ring gear diameter. S315B is build date information which doesn't mean much but 3 is the year, 1 is the month and 15 is the day. Hope that helps.
