Default Diagnosis Help

Hi All,

I have an 84 F-150, 6cyl. Problm I have is I am loosing my brake pedal at stop lights - goes to the floor and then I pump the pedal and it comes back. I do not see any fluid leaking from any of the wheels. This happened to my car once and was the master cylinder. In that case I had brake work done and they did not bleed the brakes properly. In this case I ddi not have any brake work, just started happening. The brakes are in good shape. Can a master cyl.inder just go? Or could it be that I do not see fluisd but maybe I have a small leak in one of the wheel cylinders or calipers?

Thanks for any help.

Dave

It may be the master cylinder. They can leak air but not fluid so you won't see any leaks.
Check the wheel cylinders too.

Replace the Master Cylinder. Problem solved.
