Audio Upgrade
In My 1982 Bronco I went with the following, may be a bit more than you are looking for.
Blaupunkt SQR46

Infinity reference amp I have the previous version of this but will upgrade to the Infinity Kappa version this summer

Infinity Kappa coax speakers (6.5inch upfront 6x8 in the rear)
https://www.crutchfield.com/p_108K63...appa-63XF.html
Infinity Basslink DC sub
https://www.sonicelectronix.com/item...ssLink-DC.html
The sound quality is very good. It does go pretty loud, but with the roof off and the exhaust I have you kind of need that.
It is also important to highlight I have put sound deadening on the doors and the 3/4 panels. I will be doing the roof and floor this summer.
The Blaupunkt is a nice retro looking stereo and performs as well as the $200 Pioneer/Alpine I had previously. I definitely think the premium for the Blaupunkt is worth it in my vehicle. Your milage may vary!

Zoom in to the shadow area to see the tweeter
I only have one done, and the hole needs to be 1/4" bigger than it is so I can recess the tweeter even further. The 6.5 is behind the door panel in the factory location.
