Default Add Headers?

I have a crack in the exhaust manifold of my 76 F150 w/ a 360. Trying to figure out if I should go with headers or just replace the old exhaust manifold. Still has the 2bbl, but plan on going with a 4bbl this summer. Any thoughts / opinion appreciated!

I would be asking myself am I going for more sound out of the exhaust or more performance or just keeping it close to stock. Either way headers will help the engine breathe more. If you want sound or performance I would go with a set of long tubes but if your going for close to stock shortys would be the route. Headers aren't much more then replacement manifolds and the availibity on them is better seeing as there's 100 people that make headers vs a handful of people who make replacement manifolds

I've got full-length headers on my 390 that's in my '69 (almost the same application). They are Flowtech off of amazon.com for $127. I like them a lot especially for the price but they were a PITA to install! lol
