Default Leaking motorcraft 4300

I have a 1979 f-150 with a 460 from who knows where. I am have some issues with the carb and I don't want to spend time tuning it until I get this leak fixed. It's leaking from the front around the top cover gasket. I have read that these are notorious for warping. I have tried a new gasket and tried doubling the gaskets in the area where it is leaking and it only seems to be getting worse. Does anyone know of a way to straighten the top cover or stop this leak. Also I can't seem to find a torque spec for the screws for the top cover. If you have any information it would be much appreciated. Thanks
