'86 F150 5.8 swap into '82 F100 with 300 six
I am starting to swap a 5.8 with C6 into my '82 F100 with 300 six and C6.
Some questions:
Are the two C6 bell housings the same? (can I bolt the 5.8 up to the six cylinder's C6?) Are the transmissions bolted in the same location on both trucks?
Are the tail shafts and driveshaft splines the same?
Has anyone done this swap?
Any info would be much appreciated!
