86 300 I6 4 barrel
Hello from Florida.
I’m pretty much over the feedback carb monstrosity. Cant get the thing to work. So i’m going to roll back to an 83 distributor, add a coil, put on a manifold, and stick a 4 barrel on this. Likely to go manual choke, as i use one on an airplane and have lots of experience with it.
Parts being considered:
https://www.speedwaymotors.com/Offen...LS,227900.html
https://www.holley.com/products/fuel.../parts/0-81570
i will need a wiring harness and some mounting hardware. What else is recommended?

I have assembled the Offenhauser dual port intake, a Quick Fuel 450 4 barrel carb, coil, dizzy, and Duraspark 2 module.
a few questions.
Where can i find the bolts and studs? I tried Summit. I found grade 8 studs at another place, but read warnings on them. Who has great solid hardened hardware?
Does the stock exhaust manifold take a gasket? My old manual shows intake gasket, not exhaust.
The stock manifolds bolt together. I assume the Offenhauser will not bolt to the exhaust. Right?
Can the stock tach be fed from the new coil? Power? New tach?
On the stock exhaust manifold to exhaust, there is a round gasket. Any clue what part this is or where to get it.
I am committed to finish this, and will post pics.
Thanks for all help.
