I have a 84 f150 300ci straight 6 with a 3 speed with overdrive... I'm having issues with it stalling out on me... Started out with it only doing it at high speeds now its whenever it decides to do it... I just did a full tuneup, ie plugs wires cap ignition coil. Its hard to explain but it jerks a bit then stalls completely... I gotta coast like 30 secs or more with the clutch in then engage it again for it to finally start and you can smell fuel really strong... so I'm guessing its not a fuel problem that its most likely an electrical problem... Thing is... I know its not a bad ground because when it stalls I can push the clutch in and crank the starter but no fire.... Then finally it'll start again.. Then do it a few minutes later. I'm not really sure what the problem is just that it only does it when its hot and its intermittent. If anyones heard of a problem like this please let me know asap because this is my daily driver and i'm afraid that one day it will just not start and I will be left stranded or not be able to get to work.
