351/400 carb vacuum ports?

351/400 carb vacuum ports?
Motorcraft 2v carb vacuum ports.
There are two, one at the base on passenger side, one midway up bore area on driver side both on rear of carb.
I'm wanting to connect my distributor and not sure which one to use, both use 3/16" hose.
Any help will be appreciated.
