i have a 1986 1/2 ton supercab, 2 wheel drive with a 302 fuel injection. auto trans. i cant find out what or where the o2 sensor plugs into. i found the sensor but not the plug. thanks

 

What do you mean by "not the plug"?

 

What I ended up doing was getting a universal one and splicing it in. The new sensor came with a piece of shrink wrap to go over the connection.

 

The sensor has a long wire that runs to the harness behind the intake manifold. Its a real pain to get to, but easy if you have the intake manifold off. That's why you can do it the way you did. The next gen. has the "plug" to the harness close to the sensor.
