1/2 ton dually conversion
This may seem like a dumb idea but I'm wanting to convert my 85 over to a dually anyone else done a conversion I kno what I need I may just get the wheel adapters I can make the fenders any thoughts on this
Most who would need the extra capacity of a dually would need the better axle, frame, and suspension upgrades as well - F250 or F350.
I am not sure you can even get adapters for the 5 lug hub?
If you don't convert the front as well then you will need to have 2 spares.
You would need fender flares and extended fuel filler hose etc.
Are you planning to pull a big 5th wheel or 4 horse trailer or something?
My advise would be to just buy the truck you need.

Seems like all you would need is a dually rear end 3/4 springs and a dually bed from that generation. But I have not seen many 80-86 dialogs you may need to up one generation. And maybe the spring hangers. And maybe a the drive shaft as well for the larger u joints
