Default XYZ Plan

My brother owns 250 shares of Ford stock. What plan is he, me, eligible for? Is it transferable to me?

After 6 months of ownership of 100+ shares, he is eligible. You aren't.

What kind of discounts are there in "his"plan. He could buy the truck for me.

impossible to say over the internet, it all matters what DMA he lives in. I get different D plan pricing than my dad for example, because i live in the Philly DMA and he lives in the DC DMA, rebates are different between those 2 places

your brother can't 'buy' the truck for you.

from the rules

'Vehicles must be registered in the eligible participants name'

X-Plan pricing is the same for everyone using it.

Rebates/incentives differ by model, trim, and region. Rarely does X-Plan have unique X-Plan rebates, but most public rebates/incentives are available to X-Plan buyers.

If your brother buys with X-Plan, and then transfers the vehicle to you, he is violating the X-Plan rules and will have to deal with that.

Why not? Brother can buy said truck in his name and sign it over to him? Been done many times. To me its not worth it on X-plan but the A/Z-plans it’s definitely worth it.

If an employee is caught doing that they will lose their plan privileges. The vehicle has to be in the employee's name for 6 months. I know many people that have lost pin privileges for 24 months for doing what you suggest.
