Default X Plan...Son of a gun

So I only found out about X Plan after being on here. In March I ordered my truck and should be delivered any day now. I JUST found out that my company qualifies for the X plan and got a PIN.
Contacted the dealer to tell them I just figured this out. I'm sure nothing will come of it and will be "too bad so sad" but we'll see I guess

i think you can still use it because technically you havent "bought" the truck yet and pin is required at time of purchase

Right, you can use it, if your dealer lets you. But dealers are under no obligation to accept to x-plan pricing. (Of course, it would be better to agree to the x-plan pricing at the time you order. If the dealership doesn't agree, find another dealership that will.) It's still worth a shot, though.

My dealer wanted nothing to do with my Xplan pin until the day it showed up and it was time to do the paperwork.

However, they certainly knew ahead of time, and what the others have said is correct in that it’s up to them if they want to honor it or not.

I would venture a guess that any dealership that is even honoring x-plan right now will only do so at the time the order is placed, but I would still ask, fully being prepared to hear no for the current order.

i bought one last year and found the same thing out too late, sucks I could have probably gone up a trim level almost for the same price. If they honored it

I wouldn't ask fully expecting them to say no.

I would tell them you have an x-plan PIN that you will be using.

Don't ask, tell them you will be.

And yes they might still say no but don't hand them the no.

the place i bought my 22 from in April off their lot, told me in feb they didn't participate in x plan
but in april they honored X plan, they were very eager. I asked a few times and was told by the APRIL crew they always took x plan for at least local folks etc.
i let them know salesman jimmy joe bobby told me NO, jimmy joe was fired in march.

this truck sat on their lot from nov of 2021 till april of 2022

i wont buy from a place that wont take x plan or at least beat x plan. i worked hard to be able to have x plan and i expect to take full advantage of the program.

I got screwed was told I can’t use it the plan and it was up to them wether they honor it or not. Ordered in march and didn’t say I was using it figured it would be good my mistake I was close to walking out on truck but didn’t want to wait 6 months for new one from another dealer that accepts the plan.
