Default X-plan Pricing

I am entitled to x-plan pricing and wondering if you could please educate me on exactly how to find this pricing from the dealer invoice. What exactly is x-plan pricing, does it discount the main vehicle only and not the options??

Please educate me

Thanks

"Entitled" may be a stretch. It's entirely up to the dealer if they want to honor x-plan. Some won't right now.

Go to the site where you generated your pin and you can use the build tool from there to see what pricing would be on the config you want.

Yeah as someone noted, the dealer is required to give you an invoice print out that shows X, A, D, and Z plant pricing. If they don't give you this printout, request it, if they won't provide it but are claiming they are honoring X-Plan, that is breaking Ford's rules.

As "someday" noted, you can read through all the rules and even view a version of the Build and Price site with X-Plan pricing in effect if launched from the Myplan.ford.com site.

Just to get ahead of it, when you see the A/Z/D plan pricing, don't ask the dealer if they can match that. You are only entitled to X Plan and some of the pricing like A/Z is lower than dealer cost, it will just waste time.

It is indeed that simple. x-plan is on the invoice. It also severely limits the fees a dealer may charge.

But simple isn't always easy, as was also noted, dealers are not obligated to take part, and with the current supply/demand situation, I wouldn't blame them for selling one of their limited number of trucks for thousands more + fees to somebody not using a plan

Too late.
He purchased the vehicle 2 hours after this thread was created.

He is no longer frustrated with the salesman and dealership.

I ordered my truck in March under the assumption of using X plan. At delivery (1.5 weeks ago) the dealer was still going to allow X plan because of my order date (they aren't doing X plan now). Anyway, all was good until I said I wasn't going to trade my 2013 F150 to them, the record skipped! "The only reason we agreed to X plan was if you traded your truck to us, that was part of the deal", to which I responded what deal? They had given me an idea of what they though my trade would be worth in the future,12-16 weeks out, (actual was 20 weeks) at time of delivery, and I was honest with them in March that I might not trade the truck. Blah Blah Blah we will sell this truck tomorrow for over MSRP Blah Blah Blah. In the end I did trade as they raised their offer on my 2013 and I did get X plan pricing. I may have left a few bucks on the table but I think it all worked out (in the dealers favor ).

Things are more likely than ever to work in the house' favor with the current overall situation, unfortunately

BUT at least if you have an elevated value vehicle to trade in, even low balled it's still going to bring more than a similarly low offer a couple years ago, so, there's that, lol
