Default Wireless Android Auto disconnecting

Anyone else having the wireless android auto disconnect constantly?

Worked fine for a year but now it's disconnects 30 times a day.

Your 1st post!

I had all kinds of problems when I 1st got the Coolwalk fullscreen upgrade.
Now, after a few Sync and AA updates I don't have many problems at all, except the occasional wireless AA won't connect so I'll have to restart or turn the truck off and back on....but nothing like what you're talking about

Hello! Could you privately message us with your VIN and the name and location of your Ford dealer so I can look into this Android auto concern for you? Thank you!

Mine doesn't connect wireless at all now. I have to plug it in. Sad. It worked perfectly for two years. Ford broke it.

Yeah, mine disconnects when I pass a cell tower, pain in the ***. I haven't had an update in over a year.

Many people are reporting connectivity issues with the recent string of 4.2.x updates. Did your truck receive any updates recently? I would use the wired connection to avoid the issues.

I jumped on here to see if anyone else is having this issue, and clearly some are. Mine has started in the past couple of weeks. If it connects at all when I start my truck, it disconnects multiple times and then won’t reconnect. Sometimes I can’t get it to connect at all. Weird.

Hello
I have a 2023 similar issue but only disconnects for a minute or so and then reconnects. I did set it to connect every time, but occasionally it doesn't connect. I hope this gets better!

I'm having this problem as well with my new 22. AA hooks up every day but drops at a certain point on my drive and wont reconnect. If its on the USB-C it will go out and auto reconnect. On wireless it goes out and I must make a complete stop to reconnect.

The worst thing is if you try to reconnect while moving I get a "Disabled feature for safety" message. Totally ridiculous since I can hit all kinds of buttons while moving but not one simple touch to reconnect Android Auto. Just frustrating!
