Default Windshield Washer

Hi All, Hope someone can assist. I have a 23 F150 and the windshield washer does not work. I removed the pump and found it was not clogged. I determined it was not getting power when turn signal washer button was pushed. The wipers go on fine, just no power to the pump attached to the washer reservoir. I followed the wires to the y where they go into a larger wiring harness. I checked the negative wire it is grounded, just no power to the pos wire when button pushed. When I remove dthe pump I drained all the fluid and found the level sensor was working fine, just the power to the pump is the problem. I live on a horse ranch, have problems with rats getting under my hood at night. I am afraid the rats may have eaten through a wire somewhere. Anyone have a clue where the positive comes back out of the harness, where it would be exposed again?

FYI for anyone needing to get access to the washer pump, you can get to it by removing the front right fender well protector above wheel. You don't have to remove grill and right headlight.

Thanks

Why not just bring it to the dealer service department and let them sort it out? You also didn't say if checked fuses? Other then that I got nothing.

Yes, checked fuse. As I said, wipers work, they are on same 30 amp fuse #69. I wish the washer pump was on a separate fuse, but no love.
I may have to take it to dealer, but I worked at a Toyota dealership, almost impossible to get out of there without costing you hundreds. Regretfully, I am a poor dude.

I did dare. Out of 193 pages, wiper/washer was on page 193. The blue/white power wire goes from the washer pump to the wiper motor. I will try to follow it, if I can't then I will run a new wire to the washer motor and splice it in. If no power to the wire at the wiper motor then I will know it is the relay inside the wiper motor. I can then fight the dealer, as the wiper motor should still be under warranty. Regretfully, they always say it was something else and try to charge you. Thanks so much for this wiring diagram. I looked everywhere. Mine is a '23 5.0 4x4, but most of this will work for future issues. Cheers!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not sure why taking the truck to the dealership would cost you money since you have fairly new model year and should still be under warranty unless you burned through 36k miles already.

Yes, I only have 12k miles, had it for 10 moths. Send me a message after you take your truck to a dealership and it costs you nothing, you didn't spend anything. If so, you are just simply stronger, smarter than I. I have never left a dealership without paying something, and I use to work at a dealership. They still get me every time, something that wasn't covered or something that they say I really need. I just try to stay away from them as much as possible. Cheers!!!

I had a 21 Explorer that had mouse damage to a wire bundle. Caused all sorts of electrical issues. Dealer did finally fix it, definitely not covered by warranty. Luckily, car insurance covered it as a comprehensive claim. Still had to pay the deductible. Gotta love the peanut or soy oil based plastic insulation that is commonly used now days.
