I am picking up my pre-ordered truck this week. I will have to make sure the dealership is aware of there and already taken care of it before I purchase it.

The article say it doesn't affect the Power Boost models.

I wonder if they will just remove the old windshield, rebond it and reuse the old one or if they will replace the windshield as well?

Stated in the story linked to:

The company said it will notify F-150 owners the week of April 6 with plans to remove and reinstall the windshield using standard service procedures.

I wonder how many will get broken till the service techs are good enough to get it cut out without damage?

Removing this windshield is no different than removing past windshields. They don't pull a mechanic from the floor who has never done it. They'll likely either use their own body shop, or farm the work out (if allowed) to a glass shop. I just had the windshield on my 2013 replaced, and after they finish sawing through the sealant, I didn't see anything that would have resulted in breaking an existing windshield. My very large crack didn't even grow during the removal.
