Default window whistle

I have a 2021 power boost SCREW platinum. I have noticed on windy days especially at speed the drivers side window will get a real loud whistle from the top. i cant feel any air but its pretty damn loud and annoying. Is this some sort of bad seal or has anyone had a similar problem and had it sorted out at the dealer or just is what it is?

Go to your local auto parts store and get some window rubber seal conditioner. I have heard that it will soften up the rubber seal and let it re-form to your window glass. I have not tried this myself though.

Mine was a little louder the other day. Maybe it was because it was -35 before you figured in the wind chill. Everything has a tendency to shrink when it gets that cold.

I've had my truck almost a year with no sound from the window until this past week when it was much colder than normal. It wasn't really a whistle, more of a flapping or vibration sound or something from the top left corner of driver's side window. I found that if I just barely touched the rubber seal it stopped. Also, temps have increased and it went away.

I get it once in a while. Depends on wind direction and if I'm carrying something heavy. No TSB that I've seen yet

Older thread but I thought I'd chime in. We have had similar concerns and fixed it by replacing the B-pillar trim on the drivers door. As always, your mileage may vary.

Honda makes a silicone grease that is absorbed into rubber and makes it swell while helping it stay pliable. I've been applying it twice a year to all our vehicles. The rubber gaskets on my son's 2008 Pontiac G6 convertible still look showroom new. A tiny dab goes a long way.
